Dr. Sanjeev Gulati is currently heading and directing the Division of Nephrology, Fortis Escorts, Okhla, New Delhi. He has an illustrious medical career of 30 years in prestigious institutes and organizations- an Associate Professor, Pediatric Nephrology at McMaster University Hamilton, Canada, and an Additional Professor of Nephrology at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow. Having special expertise in managing kidney transplants, Dr. Gulati's pivotal role in the Dialysis and Transplant programme at SGPGI, Lucknow, is among the country's largest programmes. He has authored 20 chapters in textbooks (including the prestigious Oxford Textbook of Nephrology and Comprehensive Pediatric Nephrology) besides numerous guest lectures. He has exhibited papers at several international and national conferences and published more than 130 scientific papers in indexed journals, including Kidney International and American Journal and NEJM of Kidney Diseases. With great achievements, his work has received recognition from the Indian Council of Medical Research, the Australian College of Pediatrics, Indian Academy of Pediatrics, Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health UK, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Canada, Indian Society of Nephrology, and the Japanese Society of Nephrology.
